    Can you disguise a burpee into an everyday acivity? What about pretending you dropped something on the floor and it rolled under a desk, stay with me.. Now you’re lying prone, chest & thighs on the floor (as rx’d remember) pretending to look for it. Suddenly you remember you have to be somewhere else. You jump up and pretend to catch a midgie that’s circling above your head.
    Sweeeeet.

    AHHHH Isnt love just wonderful. How about a little anniversary party tonight with champagne and treats instead of a WOD. Turn the music up and rock the night away. Dancing is also a great exercise for toning the body!!!

    Jonny I didn’t get the point of the burpees challenge,would you explain me? You are doing this like as many sets as you want? I thought that all point of doing it is to perform all of them at one go :) ) wouldn’t it be a bit tougher lol? Or 30-40 sec rest allowance in between ? What do u think? :)

    Shaddowwzz. The point of the burpee challenge? Well, there really isn’t one, except that you will get better at burpees and also a little fitter. I think it is spawned out of Crossfit madness that occurs when too many fit people come up with ‘great’ ideas. We started 57 days ago, this was called Day 1, and on Day 1 everyone did 1 burpee. On day 2 (the very next day), everyone did 2 burpees, and so on. We’re now on day 57 and everyone who has started the challenge now has to do 57 burpees. They can be done at various stages throughout the day, or all 57 can be done in one go. This is on top of the workout. There is however a forfeit for missing days. If you didn’t do yesterday’s, then you must do them today AS WELL AS the 57 for today, ie 113 in total. This is a continuous forfeit, so the more days you miss, the more you have to make up for it. The challenge continues until Day 100, or until your elbows expolde – judt kidding!

    Actually, on Day 100 we will be completing the workout called ‘GI JANE’. This workout is 100 burpee/pull-ups for time. You do your burpees under the pull-up bar and on the jump of the burpee you also add in a pull-up.

    Well that makes sense to me now :) And wouldn’t it be too much altogether with pull ups? Considering that day before that we’ll have a workout and 99 burpees done i think it’s just a little biiiiit too much lol,i’d like to c it coz i’m a bit sceptical toward that challenge… no rest before no results i suggest :) ,maybe it would be better to make 1-2 day rest between completing burpees challenge and GI JANE workout,huh? Wot do u think? :) ….(just wee suggestion if you don’t mind Helzy :) )

    bad news shaddowwzz, to “buy in” to the burpee challenge you have to make up all the missed days, this means 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 and so on to day 57 then you do day 58. so that is a hell of alot of burpees. so thats 1653 burpees then day 58, good luck
