Burpee Challenge :-) - Day 61

Today’s Workout of the Day is:

Three rounds for time of:
50 double unders
50 Back Extensions
50 Sit-ups

What a happy gang of young athletes!
This crowd completed a 6-week fitness program in Crossfit Northern Ireland.
Their last workout was ‘Fight Gone Bad’. Well done to everyone who came down and trained with us over the weeks. See you again when you join :D

    Guerilla Burpee Rules.

    1. Must be performed in a public place with members of the public present.
    2. Non-exercise clothing must be worn.
    3. Full range of motion must be executed, ie chest/thighs to floor and jump with clap overhead.
    4. Video evidence is absolutely required. Said evidence will be added into an affiliate montage.
    5. Unsuspecting members of the public must also be captured in the shot.
    6. Be inventive with the setting of the guerilla burpee. Extra kudos being given for those successfully performed and videod at serious social events.
    7. Once the guerilla burpee has been executed the ‘burper’ must revert to acting as though nothing as happened. Points will be deducted for laughing, high 5’s etc.

    These rules may not be yet exhaustive and if I think of any others I’ll add them to the list.

    This challenge is built on stupidity but loaded with seriousness. Onward troops. Good luck and safe home.

    This really isnt helping with the crossfiters image of being complete Nutter’s! But i must say i love it! Im starting my planning now! :)

    Time: 12.38 Subbed double unders for 3 singles but managed til get a few double unders after the Wod. Sit-ups were unbroken which is a first for that many. Oh bring on the Waterfront. If i get thrown out for my burpee challenge do i get extra points!! :)

    8. Extra points will be awarded for being escorted off premises after a guerilla burpee.

    Brilliant idea! I think the next level would be team guerrilla burpees. That way you could do the ‘wave’ with a group of CF’ers in line at the bank doing the burpees in succession; or ‘popcorn’ with folks randomly placed in the lobby of the cinema, seemingly unrelated but randomly popping up for burpees.

    Andy and I were doing them in the hotel lobby at the Cert in Manchester lol…

    Guys cheers for facilitating that 6 week session for the group, they really seemed to enjoy it and alot have expressed an interest in membership, just need to see wat the funds r like first :D see yous tomorrow about 10am, rest day today as i can barely move my arms :(
