Today’s Workout of the Day is:
As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes;
5 Suitcase Deadlift
5 Cleans
5 Push Press
5 Overhead Squat
Using either a kettlebell or dumbbell, 1 round is when all of the above have first been completed with the right hand and then the left hand.

is everything still ok for the youth group on thurs nite? i am going to try and get down on monday so will get talking to you then about teh group, was away on a training course all week there so just bac.

Hi All, I called in today for the first time, looked like I had just missed the morning session (gutted!). I called in as I have signed up for the Level 1 Cert in September. I have been following your WOD’s online for sometime but as I live in Whitehead it’s quite a track down that way!
Great to catch up with you Johnny and I will definatly try and get down a couple of times before September to jump in on one of your sessions if that is OK?

Looking through Eva T’s bodyweight WOD’s, what’s a handstand jackknife to straddlejump?

Scot, this is quite an athletic movement. Come out of the handstand with both feet together (pike position). When the feet hit the ground you jump into a straddle (legs spread straight in the air and touching your toes). I just did a few…good luck with it!

Might just try this with a tuck or vertical jump for starters, when working on gymnastic skills!!!

10 rounds 8kg. bit of a sweaty one. Need technique again. Counting and tryin to remember technique is hard. Hardest part of the nite was trying to get my toe into the vibrams, maybe do a wod 2marra to break them in. See how I feel in the morning. Nite Nite.
