    Hey Guys

    I am hoping to get down on Monday, however, i have damaged the heel pad around my achilles tendon and it is very inflammed. I have to stay off it for a few weeks. Can i adopt the WOD’s?

    Welllllll, technically the wods belong to everyone but we can let you adopt Monday’s if you want :D We’ll even adapt it to suit you..

    What a crap performance!!! Well disappointed, with the past 2 weeks strength I was expecting to see new PB’s today. Snatch PB 70 kgs, Clean and Jerk PB 85kgs, today -

    Snatch – 60kg, 65kg, 70kg(f)
    Clean and Jerk – 80kg, 85kg, 87.5kg(f) got the clean but couldn’t get the Jerk!!
    rest day required I think????
    72 burpees done

    Like I have written on the whiteboard this morning Scot, ‘don’t be disappointed if you don’t pb. You can’t pb every week’.
    You won’t all of a sudden get stronger in 2 weeks. Settle petal!

    50 kg Snatch (PB) – 62.5 kg C&J (PB) – hopefully a bit more to come in the coming weeks – haven’t set a good marker for the C&J yet – just worried about throwing to much on and hurting the shoulders again.

    6 days without sugar!

    Thanks Helz, I guess I was expecting more from my Snatch as I felt good on Thursday doing the 2 Position Snatch which was 5 x 5 with 45kgs??

    Not a good day at all. I
    shud hav rested. Mind just not with it. Snatch okay but I need that agression 14.5-17-20. C& j attempted 35 but lost it went another 2times and gave up away wif the fairies 2day

    Plus I always hate going for 1 rep max’s in DW Sports!! On another mote my towel smelt of paleo cookies this morning!!!

    Snatch 22.5, I get really frustrated doing these because my form is dreadful, I know I need to keep working on it and making sure I don’t lead with my knees but everytime I try I always slip back into my old shitty ways! Bit of pain in my shoulder so I’ll use that excuse today! Lol 50 squats…FAIL! back to the drawing board on Monday! Naill your technique was great today, good to watch you in action

    Mr smut:

    Didn’t go for max lifts today, just worked up to where I felt strong but close to max.

    Snatch 70kg

    clean and jerk 90kg

    the snatch is a massive improvement for me as in gym conditions iv never got over 62.5kg so to get 70 without it being a max is great.
    The clean and jerk is an equal PB with the lift I did in comp. So well happy with this as well.

    I am sooooooooooooooo sore today. I dont think Saturdays are a good day for me. I was wondering why I’m so tired and sore and remembered I have trained 5 days this week and there was me feeling guilty about getting 4 days in and I remembered that I also nearly buckled myself cycling on Monday night. That is way too much for my wee muscles.
