You want ME to do THAT?
YES! However, we will give you scaled down versions of all the exercises you need to master. The more and more you practice your technique, the better you will become. We will not expect or allow you to perform high skill-based movements without first assessing your capabilities.
I haven’t trained in years…
Don’t worry. When you arrive you will see the Workout of the Day (WoD) written up on the whiteboard, along with that day’s warm-up. The WoD will be written in 4 classes, A-class through to D-class. A-class is for the super-fit. From B to D-class the WoD will be scaled down in both number of rounds, number of reps, how heavy the weights used will be, how far you need to run etc. We will help you determine which class of workout is right for you.
What do I wear?
Boardshorts rule! You’re gonna sweat, so don’t wear too many layers. You’ll need to be able to squat comfortably so jogging bottoms may not be the best idea.
Do you have showers?
Yes. There are both male and female changing areas with showers. Bring your own shower gel though.
Are there secure lockers?
Yes, 6 lockers in the female and 6 in the male changing rooms. There are also some clear boxes by the benches in the main gym, but these aren’t secure.
What if I don’t like it. Am I tied into a contract?
Nope. If you don’t like CrossFit you leave, simple as that. All we need you to do is tell us that you’re canceling your direct debit (so we don’t keep on trying to take your membership from your account)
